I worked in the Blindness and Low Vision non-profit space for over a decade. I designed the Adaptations.org website, an online and in-person store that sells technology products that make people’s lives easier. Then I joined the Media and Accessible Design (MAD Lab), which produces Braille and tactile maps for individuals and organizations all over the world. My time at the LightHouse fueled a continuous quest to make the world a better and more accessible place.

I am also a professional musician and instrument designer, having played over 300 shows with my band Van Goat in the United States and Europe. I’ve animated my own music videos and created a comic book for my single “The Fishing Song.” On stage, I play traditional instruments like guitar and piano - but I’ve also designed my own instruments including a pineapple drum trigger (using a real pineapple), the fishing rod synthesizer, and the Connect 4 Musical Instrument. I’m convinced that music can be found in the unlikeliest of places, and that anything with a USB port is a musical instrument if you want it to be. I’ve showcased my designs at Maker Faire Bay Area, Stanford’s CCRMA, and on stage with my solo project Neeto

In 2023, I realized there was a through-line between all of these things - experience and interface design. Now working in UX / UI, I use design, animation, sound, light, and play to create unique and inclusive moments meant to make everyone smile.

Let's work together to make a more playful, accessible world.
